GOING GOING GREEN!

1. "Have you figured out yet that I'm going as a cadaver, an anatomical gift?"

2. The way Semrau keeps information away from you helps because it makes the reader read with more depth and to reread some of his sentences to make you think what he is talking about. He uses words in sentences that everybody who has had to strive for a job has gone or is going through.

I believe the intent of the essay was that it is never to late to choose one of the three; conserve, reuse, or recycle. Although he talks about these three words as in yourself instead of nature. Waldemar "reuses" an old calling of his and that was to be surgeon. This is because he does not want to end his carrer and retire, so he goes back to his old childhood calling. He wants to go to Harvard Medical School to complete his task.

His writing strategy was a great one because he puts his own story to what he is trying to tell us, so people could relate maybe and keep reading. People also like reading storys instead of boring lectures tell someone to do a certain task they do not want to do.

Baby Jesus

The Lutheran Service book hymn 332 talks about Jesus's birth and how it all came to be in deep dramatic detail. It talks about how Jesus came from the VIRGIN Mary and because he did he is pure and fresh. We should all marvel about what had happened. The Kingdom had victory after Jesus had been born. Jesus shines with the Kingdom now that he is with his Father and he will be there eternally. Then we will be with him eventually when the time comes.
There is a great amount of emotion in this hymn also. What completes the sense of emotion is the great wide span on vocabulary that is used in this hymn. The words make the hymn come to life. One of my favorite parts of this hymn is "Wondrous birth! O wondrous Child! Of the Virgin undefiled!". This part of the hymn shows how such a success of Jesus's birth was and how it was such a great time in history. The whole hymn is an amazing one and really shows the wonderous birth of Jesus.

ISSUES!

1a. 20

1b. Makes holy, slain, is, died, lives again, slain, took sin, set apart, died, raises, slain, makes us alive, come, makes blessings, smiles, reins on the throne, died, lives, reins.

2. Rev. Borghardt is saying in this sermon that one day we will be with God and everone else who belives in Jesus who died on the cross for us. God see's his saints which is us because Jesus died on the cross. He wants us to see him one day. Edwards' sermon is more about preishing and what will happen if we dont belive in God and worship him for what he has done for us. Edward makes the reader feel bad about themselves. His sermon talks about Christ barely when Borghardt's talks about Christ many times through out.

I Prefer My Air Freshners On My Rearview Mirror

The Article on the "Law banning items from rear view mirrors is being rethought" is simply about how people and police do not pay attention or acknowledge the fact that hanging items from your rear view mirror is breaking the law, so for that the state of Michigan is debating on changing the law.

"As a general principle, we wouldn't support anything that gives police arbitrary power to pull people over," Purdy said. "Unless it's large and an obvious obstruction, it's just silly for police to pull somebody over for that. People aren't hurting anybody and they're not causing any danger." I like this quote, because it shows how even the spokesman of the National Motorists Association thinks the law is rediculous.

I agree with this law, because I think you should be able to do whatever you want to your own car. If you bought it you should be able to put items you like in it. Express your love for your car in fun items and props.

Mitch Albom on LeBron

In Mitch Albom’s point on his LeBron James segment is that why is it whenever an African American is involved is the racial card thrown. It seems like every time someone with a different skin color is in the spot light, a person always brings up something about their skin color. In this case the reporter says "Do you think there's a role that race plays in this?"
I agree with Albom is his segment because I also think that people need to stop thinking so racial about everything. Everyone is created equal. We shouldn’t judge people just because of their skin color.
In my opinion Albom’s best part of his whole segment is when he writes “Why not look at the facts

without color?” Then he changes LeBron’s name to Leo. This shows that no matter whom it is, how their

names spelled, how good they are, etc. Everyone is equal. This also shows how creative Mitch Albom is in

his writing’s. He puts his own touch of style to the paper to show his readers what the news is all about
